In the first eight weeks since launch, BookScan reported a total of 288 Weird World War III US retail print sales.

Below are the BookScan US trade paperback sales as reported by Amazon for the period of November 23rd through November 29th by geography. As a reminder, BookScan compiles point-of-sales data from ~10,000 retailers throughout the US, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Target, and Buy.Com. Retailers such as Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club do not participate. As such, BookScan estimates that this point-of-sales data represent about 75% of all brick-and-mortar and online retail print book sales in the US. It does not include ebook sales, sales outside the US, sales to libraries, or used book sales.

According to Bookscan, Weird World War III sold 18 copies last week, which is a decrease from the 20 copies sold in week seven.

Amazon reviews for Weird World War III continue to trickle in, with 19 ratings thus far.

Weird World War III: Sixth Week Sales Report

Below are the BookScan US trade paperback sales as reported by Amazon for the period of November 9th through November 15th by geography. As a reminder, BookScan compiles point-of-sales data from ~10,000 retailers throughout the US, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Target, and Buy.Com. Retailers such as Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club do not participate. As such, BookScan estimates that this point-of-sales data represent about 75% of all brick-and-mortar and online retail print book sales in the US. It does not include ebook sales, sales outside the US, sales to libraries, or used book sales.

According to Bookscan, Weird World War III sold 26 copies last week, which is an increase over the 20 copies sold in week five. I attribute this increase to multiple media appearances this week plus the ripple effect of appearing on Coast to Coast AM, which has a 2.75 million-person weekly audience.

Amazon reviews for Weird World War III continue to trickle in, even my first three-star rating–on my birthday.

As such, BookScan estimates that this point-of-sales data represent about 75% of all brick-and-mortar and online retail print book sales in the US. It does not include ebook sales, sales outside the US, sales to libraries, or used book sales.

According to Bookscan, Weird World War III sold 20 copies last week, which is more than the 18 sold in week four. I believe the entirety of this increase is due to my appearance on Coast to Coast AM this past Sunday morning. As I mentioned last week, Coast to Coast AM has a weekly audience of 2.75 million people.

Amazon reviews for Weird World War III continue to trickle in, and all have still been four or five stars.
